During the tour an experienced guide will explain the history of English wine - from how vines are grown and pruned through to picking the grapes, fermentation, blending and bottling at the end. You’ll learn about how vines are produced on a commercial scale and the reasons for the choice of grapes which are selected. Many vineyards have cafés or a restaurant where you can make the most of your experience and treat yourself to lunch. Programmes vary slightly depending on your chosen location. Please note that the Oxfordshire location includes a winery and brewery tour and tasting for two.
