Discover the fascinating history behind one of the world’s most famous bridges with a visit to the Tower Bridge Exhibition. You’ll be amazed as you explore the bridge’s iconic structure and magnificent engine rooms, and you’ll even be able to walk into the high level Walkways – set 42 metres above the River Thames and offering stunning views of landmarks including St Paul’s Cathedral, Monument and Canary Wharf. What’s more, your experience for two will also include a delicious afternoon tea at the nearby Novotel.

Within Tower Bridge's iconic structure and magnificent Victorian Engine rooms there is plenty to see and do! After watching a new animated video about why Tower Bridge was built, guests can walk into the high level Walkways, 42 metres above the River Thames. This offers visitors the chance to admire stunning panoramic views of London, spying such popular landmarks as St Paul's Cathedral and the Monument to the west and St Katharine's Dock leading to Canary Wharf to the east.
The East Walkway houses the exhibition 'Great Bridges of the World' - this photographic exhibition features over 20 Bridges, each of which represents a breathtaking feat of engineering. In the south tower a short video shows the construction of the Bridge, before guests proceed to the West Walkway where they can view the brand NEW exhibition, 'This is London'. Here, visitors can admire copies of over 60 iconic illustrations and excerpts from painter and illustrator, Miroslav Sasek's classic children's book, 'This is London'.
Continue on to the original lifting machinery in the Victorian Engine Rooms, complete with sounds and smells that transport you back in time to the Bridge's origins. You will also experience a virtual Bridge lift, providing you with a unique view of the Bascules being raised. A visit to the Gift Shop before leaving allows the chance to take home a memento of your day.
Your experience also includes afternoon tea at the nearby Novotel. Afternoon tea includes a selection of sandwiches, raisin scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, a selection of cakes and pastries and a choice of tea or coffee.
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is for two people. Pre-booking is essential. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Please note the package is not available on 24th-26th December. Exhibition opening times are as follows: April - September : 10:00 - 18:00 (last admission 17:30); October - March: 09:30 - 17:30 (last admission 17:00). Afternoon Tea at the Novotel is served between 3pm and 5pm, you will need to advise your preferred time when booking. The hotel is unable to deal with special dietary requirements on the day, any requests must be advised at the time of booking and are potentially subject to an additional supplement. Please note once you've arranged a date with the supplier your booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. All dates and timings are subject to availability.
Upon purchasing this Tower Bridge Exhibition and Afternoon Tea for Two voucher it must be activated by either you or the recipient before it can be used. You can only book in the Tower Bridge Exhibition and Afternoon Tea for Two experience at the venue if the voucher has been activated. Please do not turn up at a venue expecting to be able to redeem this voucher without first activating it. Upon activation you will be sent a pin number and unique reference plus the contact details of the venue in order to make your reservation.
