Visit filming locations for your favourite show and find out more about Doctor Who together with this bus tour for two

You won’t want to miss this scenic opportunity for two if you’re a fan of the Doctor and his companions, because this is your chance to walk in the footsteps of your favourite characters. As well as seeing many of Cardiff’s most attractive areas, you’ll take in some Welsh countryside and visit many filming locations for the series; see the village Amy Pond lived in, take a photograph outside of Sarah Jane’s house, visit the church where Donna Noble almost gets married and much, much more. Tour guides are happy to answer any questions you might have, and as many of them have been extras on the show, you may well have some! There will be walking involved, so don’t worry about sitting down for too long – this does however mean this tour may not be suitable for those with serious health or mobility issues.

Upon arrival you will meet your friendly and informative guide, who will tell you everything you need to know during your tour. During your 4 hour tour you'll visit areas of Cardiff such as Cardiff Bay, the City Centre, Penarth and Llandaff where some of the most memorable Doctor Who locations seen in the show are situated.

You will get a chance to wander through Amy Pond’s village, locations from the Christmas 2012 episode and see sites from Doctor Who spin offs – The Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood, plus many other interesting Doctor Who locations and landmarks along the way. You’ll learn how the show is made, get trivia about some of the stars from the show and you’ll have the chance to stop on several occasions, stretch your legs, take pictures and see the locations up close.

The tour will be guided by knowledgeable Doctor Who experts some of whom have been extras in several episodes of the show.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for two people. You must be 17 or over. Between February and October, tours will run on Fridays at 2pm. Please note that as there is quite a bit of walking required in the tour so it may not be suitable for those with mobility or health problems. Booking must be made in advance. Allow 3 hours for this experience. You will be in a group of up to 29 people. All dates are subject to availability and your voucher must be booked and taken before the date shown.
