Situated in the heart of Berkshire, Donnington Grove Hotel is a stunning country hotel nestled in the tranquil countryside near Newbury. Set in 500 acres of gorgeous countryside, the hotel boasts unrivalled views of Donnington Castle, the beautiful River Lambourn and one of Berkshire’s most renowned golf courses. During your stay you will only be a short drive away from Highclere Castle Newbury Race Course and the Kennet and Avon canal, where you can while away the day before coming back to relax in front of a roaring fireplace, or in the gardens with a glass of something chilled in the summer.

A quintessentially English hotel in the heart of Berkshire, you will find an abundance of beautiful and original features throughout the main house including hand-painted wallpaper, decadent furniture and century’s old artwork and tapestries that will provoke any curious mind. You will stay in the splendour of the ‘Classic’ room, with the opportunity to upgrade subject to availability. The rooms retain the character and many traditional features of Donnington Grove’s grand setting. As well as the opportunity to rest and recuperate, your stay includes a traditional afternoon tea that the hotel staff prepare using locally-sourced ingredients. Your tea will include a delicious selection of freshly made sandwiches, scones and preserve as well as cakes, pastries and a pot of tea or coffee for two.
