This CSI Experience for 2 offers you a chance to step into the shoes of a crime scene investigator for a day. The experience aims to showcase how different the reality of crime scene investigation is from what is portrayed on your favourite forensic crime television programme. You'll have the opportunity to debunk some myths and get a glimpse of what really occurs at a crime scene. The experience is based on real-life crime scenes and is moderated by members of the law enforcement community, including former and current crime scene investigators, senior investigative officers, accident investigators, and major crime detectives. It's as close to the real thing as it gets. At the start of the CSI experience day, you and your fellow aspiring investigators will meet at a specially designed "crime centre." The first part of the experience will focus on teaching you the various techniques used by forensic and investigative officers. You'll learn how to collect DNA swabs and blood tests, lift fingerprints, and take crime scene photographs using actual CSI equipment. This is a unique opportunity to see first-hand how it's done in the real world.

CSI Experience

Hands on introduction into the basics of forensic science
Participants are briefed on the 'crime of the day' ie murder or kidnap
